The 2024 Puget Sound Garden Fling is shaping up ...

to be THE gardening event of the summer. Mark your calendars for July 18-21st!

The Pacific Northwest climate is a gardener’s dream: mild winters, gentle rainfall and plenty of summer sunshine. The Puget Sound area is known for its stunning mountain and water views, as well as its gardening culture. You’d be hard pressed to find a more passionate gardening community!

Our Fling base will be the Hotel Murano, centrally located in downtown Tacoma and home to an impressive collection of glass art. Fling attendees will be treated to a Thursday evening welcome reception on the waterfront, followed by three glorious days of garden touring. We’ll ride a ferry across Puget Sound to a stunning rural island, dine at an historic estate garden and explore numerous public and private gardens around the Sound, including legendary Heronswood and iconic Windcliff.

An optional post-Fling tour on Monday, July 22nd, will showcase some of Seattle’s best private gardens. More detailed information, including the registration cost, will be coming soon. We expect to open registration in late January, so stay tuned. We hope you will join us!

Awesome!!! I'm finishing up a group tour that ends in Victoria on the 19th, but I'll be in Tacoma the 20-22. I'll have a 15-passenger van if it might be useful
