Crocus tomassinianus isn't the only thing that's early in America's Garden Capital, many of the registration spots for the 2023 Philadelphia area Fling have been taken!
We only have 40 spots left for what's shaping up to be one of the best tours in the region this September. I hope you're planning to arrive early and stay a few days later to take in all that the Philadelphia region has to offer. We have 30+ public gardens within 30 miles of Philadelphia and September is a glorious time to visit. I'll aim to give monthly updates on the blooms of the region and more details of The Fling as they come available. Check the previous posts for the details of this year's Fling.
I got out this past weekend and soaked up some sunshine at the Morris Arboretum. The sky was blue and the garden was looking fantastic for those seeking color and fragrance. Witchhazel, wintersweet, hellebores and daffodils were showing off their stuff between all the snowdrops. We haven't had any snow to speak of this winter (and I'm just fine with that!) Hope you're all enjoying the season in your own gardens as well!
